About Beth

Opening The BETH YOUNG Center was a natural step in the life of founder, Beth Young.

“I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. I was in such a negative place mentally and emotionally and was seeking a way to get on top of crippling, lifelong Depression, and stay on top of it, once and for all.

My own emotional issues of depression, anxiety, anger, and fear had me crippled. I was in so much suffering and knew that there had to be a way out. I wanted natural methods and knew that they had to be out there somewhere. There were times I couldn’t even get myself out of bed, I couldn’t work, I had Migraine headaches. I was miserable. Then I got sick and tired of being sick and tired.

I tried some of the “Martyr Methods”; helping others, keeping quiet about my pain, doing whatever others wanted me to do, never admitting that there was a problem, believing the lie that I would somehow be rewarded if I suffered more, and my favorite “there isn’t anything to help stop this!”

It took me years of looking and experimenting, but I finally found methods that would work for me; Integrative Medicine modalities like massage, acupuncture, yoga, and essential oils. I used some of them for years, but I’d only heard of the some of the others, the ones that do the heavy-lifting of energy work. Emotional Freedom Technique or Tapping, Rapid Eye Technology, and Reiki, a time-tested Japanese natural healing modality.

When I had the opportunity to attend an Energy Healing workshop, I found out about them and heard some of the testimonials of other people who’d had experiences like mine.  I was intrigued. I knew I’d stumbled upon something that would do what I needed it to!

I went to an Energy Therapist, read books, attended workshops, and DID WHAT I WAS LEARNING ABOUT. It was my long awaited “Way Out”.

I have made these things part of my daily life and will never go back to that place of loneliness and suffering. I know now that it is unnecessary to live like that.  These methods work. I am living proof and I love sharing what I know.”

This has been an incredibly joyful journey for me. I no longer feel like I have to go along with “a bad day”, I now have tools, in keeping with my Christian beliefs, at my disposal to make every day a great one. Gratitude for “What Is” is paramount–top of the “to do” list, but had often been ignored. It’s truly one of the most powerful tools.

Now it’s my turn to help others using the methods that I’ve found. The BETH YOUNG Center is designed to serve clients when they are finally ready to get better.

I have developed a Christ-centered program that will take each client on a personalized healing journey. Progress tends to be swift, unlike traditional treatments that involve long-term conventional counseling and medication, both of which often focus on treating the problem, not releasing the issues that created the “problem”.

Beth is a US Army veteran and has been married to Craig Young, an Army officer, for 33 years. They are the parents of a two boys and a girl. That family combination is considered “perfect” by the Japanese, which is interesting to them, because Son #2 was born in Japan when the family lived there for a military assignment.

Beth was born in Oregon and is one of six children of parents who have now been married for 60 years. The family later moved to Boise, Idaho and she graduated from Boise State University with a degree in Political Science, which, as you can imagine, is hugely helpful in the world of Energy Therapy.

(Beth considers the January 2007 BSU vs. Oklahoma- Fiesta Bowl game to be the best football game ever played.)

The military is dear to our hearts and we will always do whatever we can to help military families succeed as they serve.

Too many combat veterans are coming back from overseas duty with PTSD, addictions, Depression, and many other major problems that are extending to their families.

The BETH YOUNG Center is here for them.
